It brings to mind something that happened this summer. We were tubing behind the boat and my 3 year old grand daughter wanted to try. She got on the tube with her dad. We were going at about 15 mph when her dad lost his balance and the tube flipped over on its side, he fell off."

Boeing completes preliminary design review of CST-100's Launch Vehicle Adapter: "Boeing announced on Friday that the preliminary design review for the Launch Vehicle Adapter (LVA) for the Crew Space Transportation (CST)-100 spacecraft has been successfully completed. This is the third milestone completed by Boeing under NASA’s Commercial Crew Integrated Capability (CCiCap) agreement, the purpose of which is to develop a privately owned and operated U.S. replacement for the Space Shuttle to ferry crew to and from the International Space Station (ISS)."

The researchers claim their invention increases the data capacity of optical networks to the point that all of the world’s internet traffic could be transmitted via a single fiber."
